the creation of man

well, this is pretty obvious. it is a re enactment of the creation of man. a friend (humayun a.k.a mayun) and I were walking up the stairs in college, and a black cloth hung against a wall (somewhere b/w the 1st and 2nd floor). Light was passing through a box from the third floor door which formed a rectangle of light on this cloth. Mayun and I took it as an opportunity to play around. We did a million things, not for 7 hours or 7 days. And then we recreated man, as michelangelo had several years back.

That moment of recreation took me through hell and back, years of development, technology, advancement and terror. And for a moment, I hesitated. Thats when i took the picture. This picture, represents not the creation of man, but the hesitation in creating man.. whether it was all worth it or not.
